With great Tour de France climbs such as the Col du Gailbier, Col du Glandon, Col de la Croix de Fer and the Col de l’lseran on its doorstep plus access to Italy via the Col du Mont-Cenis this area and particularly the town of St Jean de Maurienne is a prefect spot to ride your bike over a few days. For the more adventurous you could also start and finish La Marmotte route through the Oisans region of the Alps
