A stage of that years Tours de France With an early start in Bourg d’Oisans and taking in the mighty Col de la Croix de Fer , Col du Télégraphe, the high point of the day the Col du Galibier before the final climb of the day up the Col de Sarenne and then finishing on Alpe d’Huez.
