Day 1 of the Alpe d’Huez cycling tour involved a challenging 92KM ride, covering Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Glandon, and Col du Mollard, with over 2000 meters of vertical climbing, starting from Bourg d’Oisans and finishing in St Etienne de Cuines.
