We started in Valoires today as part of La Marmotte Tour took in the Col du Galibier from the north before heading down the Col du Lautaret for lunch in Briançon. After a fantastic lunch in Briançon a few of us headed up the Col d’Izoard before returning to Briançon and our overnight stay.
Due to the lack of snow this year we ditched our usual ride up the Col du Glandon on day 2 of our Alpe d’Huez Mont Ventoux week for the just opened Col du Galibier.
