Cycling Alpe d’Huez in December

Tackled Alpe d’Huez today from our base in Bourg d’Oisans for the 30th consecutive month since we have lived here. Its tough in the winter because of the cold air so I took it at a steady pace keeping my heart rate at between 170-180 bpm. OK going up freezing cold coming down even with ski gloves on.

No one else was riding the 21 bends but i did get a few cheers from people driving up to go Skiing.

I tried out my new TORM jersey today as well – long sleeve large – although i think I could have done with a medium. Anyway give them a try very confortable and worked a treat.
