scots tour of the oisans day 2, a set on Flickr.
It was hot today – hitting 33 degrees on the slopes of Alpe d’Huez. We organised a time trial up the Alpe for our 18 Scottish guests. They thought it was hot too. After the Alpe we cycled over the Col de Sarenne. It has been freshly graveled ready for the 2013 Tour de France. The rough road gave us a couple of punctures but a lot of happy faces as the scenery was as ever breathtaking. Not sure the Pro riders will be to pleased with the descent though !
