September 2009 – Cycle Tour – I have just returned to Australia after spending 10 days in Bourg d’Oisans staying with Phil and Helen. The accommodation, town, food and company were excellent. The highlight of course was the magnificent Alps and cycling through them. Phil’s guidance made the riding even more pleasurable as we could focus on the climbs and the stunning scenery without worrying about the route. Even after 8 days of cycling there is clearly many more Cols to visit from Bourg. Thanks to Phil and Helen for a great holiday!
