Winter is our downtime here in the Alps and although we spend a fair amount of time skiing I am always looking for a winter cycling adventure. Last year I cycled from our base in Bourg d’Oisans to Bristol in the UK via the Paris Roubaix Sportive.
This January I will be travelling to the other side of the world with my trusty PROMPT D902 packed in an old bike box. The itinerary is coming together with a fair amount of time spent in the North Island before travelling across on the ferry to the South Island where I will spend the last of my 3 weeks exploring the north part of the South Island. From here I catch an internal flight back to Auckland before heading back to the Alps.
