Bournemouth to Yeovil via Weymouth bourg d’oisans to bristol day 13

After nearly 1500km I had my first puncture of the trip as I wheeled my bike on to the Sandbanks to Studland ferry.

Today I road through the Purbecks (my old training ground from when I used to race in the 80’s) to Weymouth for lunch with my parents before moving inland via the Cern Abbas Giant  to Yeovil to stay with my parents in law and also my French next door neighbour who is currently learning the rules of darts on Sky Sports 2.

For the first time today the sun was out and the ride through the Dorset and Somerset country lanes was very pleasant.
