Today was food day. Everyday is food day as I try and consume enough food to allow me to ride all day.
It started with a huge fried breakfast courtesy of my brother in law in Newhaven – bacon, eggs, mushrooms and toasts.
Carrot cake and a cup of tea on Worthing sea front in the sun.
A packed lunch in Emsworth – bread rolls/ cheese and ham
An emergency stop in a greasy spoon in Cosham after my GPS battery ran low. Microwaved apple pie and custard that took the skin off the top of my mouth and a cup of stupidly hot coffee.
A couple of energy gels and bars as I rode
And a huge Indian curry courtesy of Andy my other brother in law in Bournemouth.
Due to the Garmin issue my ride was split into two sections
