Itinerary
- SaturdayĀ – Arrive in Bourg d’Oisans after 4PM
- Sunday – La Berarde – Our introduction to the Alpes – 70KM
- MondayĀ – Ride Alpe d’Huez in the morning and then Phil favourite climb up to Oulles in the afternoonĀ (70KM). Free wine and nibbles at the PROMPT.CC shop between 6-7pm
- TuesdayĀ – Ride the hidden roads as featured in Cyclist Magazine Sept 2012 and Strava Blog (80KM)
- Wednesday – Free day / Day off
- Thursday -Descend the Col du Glandon Climb the Lacets de Montvernier and Croix de Fer 90KM loop. Transfer by minibus to the top of the Glandon
- Friday – Transfer to BrianƧon by minibus to ride the Col de Montgenevre into Italy and then the Colle di Sestriere and back. Lunch in Italy. (80km). Watch the classic “A Sunday in Hell” film at the PROMPT.CC shop in the evening. Bring your own Pizza.
- Saturday – Depart Bourg d’Oisans by 10 AM
Price includes
- 7 nights accommodation in shared rooms (limited single supplements are available if you do not want to share)
- Breakfast on 7 days
- Supported rides on 5 days
- Free priority mechanical repairs to your bike (excludes parts)
- Open evening at the PROMPT.CC shop on Monday night including complementary wine and nibbles
- Showing of the classic “A Sunday in Hell” film featuring Eddie Merckx
Price does not include
- Travel to and from Bourg d’Oisans on the Saturdays.
- Lunch or Dinner
- Cycle Hire. This can be booked through PROMPT.CC but is subject to availability
