Tour de France 2014 rumours no Alpe d’Huez but still pretty good ?

So, it looks like we are going to be able to see two stages of the 2014 Tour de France from our base here in Bourg d’Oisans.

The rumours are as follows.

On the 18th July 2014 the stage will be finishing at the top of Chamrousse. This is a climb we frequently do from Bourg d’Oisans.

On the 19th July 2014 the stage will be starting from Grenoble and heading over the Col d’Izoard. There really is only one road it can take and that is the road through Bourg d’Oisans at the bottom of Alpe d’Huez.

We will be running our special Tour de France week for the 6th year running. More details can be found here

For those wanting to come and experience the climbs but maybe not watch the actual race then we are running a special Tour of the Oisans the week before the event from the 6th-13th July 2014.
