We transfered from Bourg d’Oisans to Sault for 2 days and 3 ascents of Mont Ventoux as part of our Huez Ventoux Tour
On another glorious day on our Alpe d’Huez and Ventoux week here in the Oisans we took in the climb over Villard Reculas down Alpe d’Huez and then on to Freney d’Oisans – better known to us as the Traverse d’Oisans.
I have just entered the Challenge du Dauphiné Vercors sportive for May 23rd near Grenoble France. The 158km route with over 3200 metres of climbing will be an optional extra in our Alpe d’Huez to Mount Ventoux week in 2011 (Dates 21st May-28th May 2010). and is a good early preperation for La Marmotte in July
While 5 of our Irish guests staying as part of our Tour d’Oisans holiday today cycled Alpe d’Huez I have been busy planning 2011 holidays. Yes it starts already !. Anyway good news is that we have set our dates and prices for our Alpe d’Huez to Mont Ventoux week for the 21st May 2011 until 28th May…
