On our way down to Corsica we stopped off in Nice for a quick ride up the Col d’Eze. The Col d’Eze is probably most famous for its inclusion in the Paris Nice Stage race in March. It was a hot ride up and I chose to ride the Promenade des Anglais from our hotel to the base of the climb. The promenade was probably one of the most dangerous rides I had ever done even though there was a dedicated cycle lane not many pedestrians took much notice of it.
