We quite often get asked if its possible to ride here in the Oisans in the winter – the answer is yes – but you have to pick the right time to go and probably only for a maximum of a couple of hours. This time of year you really do not want to do long descents so other than my monthly ride up Alpe d’Huez i tend to keep my rides to the valleys.
