The Legendary Alpe d’Huez
Our journey begins at the foot of Alpe d’Huez, a climb that needs no introduction. Known as the “Dutch Mountain” due to its popularity with Dutch cyclists, this 13.8-kilometer ascent features 21 hairpin bends and an average gradient of 8.1%. Each bend is named after a stage winner of the Tour de France, adding a sense of history and prestige to the climb.
As you pedal your way up, the stunning views of the French Alps will keep you motivated. The climb is tough, but the sense of accomplishment when you reach the summit is unparalleled. Alpe d’Huez is not just a climb; it’s a rite of passage for any serious cyclist.

The Scenic Route to Mont Ventoux

The route takes you through charming villages, rolling vineyards, and lush valleys, offering a perfect balance of challenge and relaxation. This is your chance to soak in the beauty of the region and recover before the next big challenge.

The Beast of Provence: Mont Ventoux
No cycling tour in this region would be complete without tackling Mont Ventoux. Known as the “Giant of Provence,” this mountain is infamous for its barren, lunar-like landscape and unpredictable weather conditions. The climb is 21.5 kilometers long with an average gradient of 7.5%, but it’s the final kilometers through the exposed summit that truly test your mettle.
Mont Ventoux has been the scene of some of the most dramatic moments in cycling history, and as you ascend, you’ll understand why. The sense of isolation and the sheer scale of the climb make it a truly unique experience.
